Winter Play - 'Figments'
Spring Musical - 'Les Miserables'
Fall 2018 Play - 'Diamonds & Diamondbacks'
Along with many other things, Mary took her theatre involvement to a new level in 2018.
In January she earned one of the leads in the understudy cast of her high school's Winter Play - Figments - and had a blast.
She made the ensemble cast for the Spring musical - Les Miserables - and had a small solo for one of the songs.
In the Fall she was cast in the 'One Acts' production; mentored for the Shakespeare Slam cast; had a smaller but pivotal lead in the Fall play - 'Diamonds & Diamondbacks' - with the culmination being the full-on lead in the understudy cast of the Winter Play - 'John Lennon & Me'.
All of these efforts earned her a place in the National Thespian Society as a freshman!
In July she also got to see the production of MacBeth at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre in downtown Chicago.
