In January we received word that the kids' school - Santa Maria del Popolo - was closing its' doors due to low enrollment.
Martin and Mary both had been prepared by the excellent 2nd grade teacher - Mrs. Piper - and fortunately Mikey got to be with her in the last ever 2nd grade class.
It was a beautiful day, and Martin & Mary formed part of the special bell choir that played for the service.
