While Martin was interested in trains, and Mikey had a passion for both model and big trains for a number of years, Mason appears to have a deep love of locomotives that continues undiluted.

A local model train club has a layout upstairs in our local library that it opens up to the public once a month, and Mason has learned to tell time and read a calendar largely based on the dates of this exhibit: the 2nd Saturday of each month.

He's become so well known to the guys that run the display that they periodically allow him to pick the locomotives they will run at various times. They are just tickled pink at his enthusiasm!
